Hey babes! Day three of #7DaysofJo and today is a day in my life vlog!! This video is really a typical day in my life, when I don’t have to be at a basketball game or a football game. I’ll be at school and work in this vlog. Enjoy! Don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE!!
I might have only had two snow days this year, but I think I’m qualified enough to know what a perfect snow day entails. (Side note: all pictures are from the internet besides the snow because of my lack props at the moment).
Movies & TV Shows
On snow days, we don’t want to waste a second thinking about school. The only solution is movies an TV shows. I love catching up on a TV show or just watching a movie that I’ve wanted to see for a while. All your cinematic and television desires can always be fulfilled during a snow day.
Tea or Hot Chocolate
Any hot beverage is great at warming up you insides! They manage to work with whatever you do and just ultimately make you feel better.
I’m such a reader and a snow day isn’t a snow day without being mesmorized by a book. It is a winter must to read when the ground is white. I find that snow days are the perfect time to reread an old favorite. My favorite children’s book is the Frog Princess by E.D. Baker and it is always great to reread.
The purpose of a snow day is to be comfy and you cannot be comfortable without a blanket! I recently got this blue blanket with snowdlakes that I love and it definitely made my snow day better.
Honestly this is optional, because of the blanket but being extra cozy is not a crime. I have this Jesus Strong XL sweatshirt that I love to wear, because it bigger than my other sweatshirts. It keeps me warm and I never want to leave my room.
You can eat as much as you want because the next day you’ll lose all the calories shoveling. A snow day love of mine are chocolate chip cookies and honey wheat pretzels. They are just so good!
This is the second video of my #7Daysof Jo. I’m doing my hair and makeup in this video, while talking about my life and plans. I was preparing for a pink breast cancer basketball game. I hope you enjoy. Don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE!!
Hi lovebugs! It’s day two of #7DaysofJo. I know that personally I have a hard time picking out what to wear. Sometimes I just don’t have a clue at all and I decided that maybe I should help other girls like me with a mini outfit ideas series. The first in this mini series is outfit ideas for church! I hope I inspire some of you.
I love all black aesthetic of this look, especially because the blue of the denim pops so well against the black. To be honest, this is a fairly simple outfit with a basic black tee and a tulle skirt. Everything else really makes the outfit. At this stage of winter its warm outside but with a chill that these tights somewhat combat. I couldn’t decide which jacket I wanted to wear, but I knew that an all black jacket was a no. I wanted to look chic and not goth, which the denim in the jacket helped with. The pearls add to look to make it look more formal than it actually is, which is perfect for church. This rocker girl style look wouldn’t be complete without the ankle boots.
The simplicity of this outfit is what makes it so striking to me. I love it and I think it enunciates my beautiful without being too much. I’m not big on jewelry because I end up usually taking it off or playing around with it. I was hesitant to wear gray, but light gray actually looks good on me. We are back with the black ankle boots! They are suede and are very comfortable to walk in. I don’t have any struggle when I walk in them, besides the fact that they are half a size too big. I’ll live though.
I am very obsessed with this look – it’s elegant and definitely timeless. The burgundy tulle skirt is obviously the statement of the look. Your eyes are drawn to its color and material. I was supposedly to add a statement necklace, but I honestly forgot about it. However, I definitely believe that the look didn’t need it like I thought. I wanted to keep all of the focus on the skirt and its beauty and I thought the best way to do that was to make all the other aspects of my outfit black. To help with the fun material of tulle, my pumps and jacket are both suede.

First of all, this week I’m having a #7DaysofJo where I will be posting a new video every day this week on my YouTube channel and my blog! Stay tuned for more Jo this week!
I was blessed enough to win one of Sensationnel’s giveaway, where I received their Premium Too Kinky Straight Boutique Bundles. I received three bundles that were 18′, 20′. and 22′. It’s human hair mixed with synthetic hair, giving it a mostly realitistic feel. I was super excited when I got the hair because they technically my first ever bundles.
I didn’t know how to style the hair, I was debating between a wig and a sew-in. I decided that a wig would definitely be better, since the hair will be able to be reused and last longer. I got my mom to sew the hair on a dome cap and it was actually pretty easy. I watched a bunch of wig making videos and coached her through the process. The wig turned out amazing.
At first, I was worried about how unnatural the closure looked, but than I realized that the hair is supposed to look like a sew-in. The hair had only two things that I didn’t like about it: it shed a lot and it got tangled often. This mad for some frustrating times when I wanted to braid the hair or just leave it done. I honestly love the thick and straight hair look on me, plus I got my compliments on the style. Overall, I love the hair and would recommend it for beginners with bundles and weave.
Hi beautiful people! Today we are getting up close and personal about what’s in my purse. Everyone knows how sacred a girl’s purse is, it honestly holds almost everything she needs in life. Hair pins! Perfume! Tissues! It’s the whole shabang. I’m curious, what do you guys carry in your bag or purse? Comment down below! And don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE.
